Jane was born in 1776.1   Jane's father was Moses Banger and her mother was Ann Witt.  Her paternal grandparents were William Banger and Sarah; her maternal grandparents were John Witt and Jane Frampton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Mary, Lucy and Sarah.
