Thomas de Clare

Thomas was born about 1245 in Thomond, Ireland. Thomas' father was Richard de Clare and his mother was Maude de Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert the Younger de Clare and Isabella Marshal; his maternal grandparents were John de Lacy and Margaret de Quincy. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Gilbert the Red, Bogo, Robert, Isabel, Margaret, Rohese (Agnes) and Eglentina. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died on August 29th, 1287 in Clare, Ireland.
