Maud FitzRobert of was born about 1120 in Gloucestershire, England.  Maud FitzRobert of's father was Robert the Consul de Meullent de Caen and her mother was Amica FitzHammon.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry I Beauclerc of England and Sibylla Corbet; her maternal grandfather was Robert FitzHammon and her maternal grandmother is Sybil de Montgomery. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Wiliam FitzRobert of, Philip FitzRobert, Hamon, Roger, Richard FitzRobert of, Robert FitzRobert of, Mabira, Mabel FitzRobert of and Christiana FitzRobert of.  She died on July 29th, 1189.
