Herleva was born in 1003 in Falaise, Calvados or Normandy, France.  Herleva's father was Fulbert the Tanner de Falaise and her mother was UNKNOWN Duxia.  Her paternal grandparents were Thorkils Sprakalegg Styrjornsson and UNKNOWN Sigrid. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Walter and Beatrice.  She died about 1050.  She was buried about 1050 in Abbey of St Grestain, France.


Herleva's first family with Herlevin (Herluin) de Conteville

‌Herleva and Herlevin (Herluin) were married in a religious ceremony about 1033.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Robert de Burgo of, Odo (Eudes) of, Isabella, Daughter, Mathilde, Emma (Adelaide) and Muriel.
