Robert II the Younger was born about 1173.  Robert II the Younger's father was Saier IV de Quincy and his mother was Margaret FitzPernel de Beaumont.  His paternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy and Orable (Orabilia) de Leuchars of Mar; his maternal grandparents were Robert III FitzPernel de Beaumont and Petronilla de Grentmesnil. He had a brother and three sisters, named Roger, Loretta, Orabella and Hawise.  He died in 1257 in London, England.
