Hugh de Grentmesnil

Hugh was born in 1032 in Normandy, France.  Hugh's father was Robert de Grentmesnil and his mother is Advise (Hawisa) de Escalfoy.  His paternal grandfather is Gervase de Grentmesnil; his maternal grandfather was Giroie de Escalfoy and his maternal grandmother is Gisele de Montfort. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Arnold and Adeliza.  He was the oldest of the four children.  Hugh is no longer alive.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Ivo, Alberic and Rohesia.
