Thomas Plantagenet of was born on June 1st, 1300 in Brotherton, Yorkshire, England.  Thomas Plantagenet of's father was Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of England and his mother was Marguerite le Hardi Capet of France.  His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet of England and Eleanor Berenger of Provence; his maternal grandparents were Philip III The Bold le Hardi Capet of France and Marie of Brabant. He had a brother and a sister, named Edmund Plantagenet of and Eleanor. He had five half-brothers and eleven half-sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward II Caernarvon of, John, Eleanor, Julian Katherine, Joan of Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Alice and Isabella.  He died at the age of 38 in August 1338.  He was buried in Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
