Mary was born before 1270.  Mary's father was William III de Ros and her mother was Maud de Vaux.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert IV de Ros and Isabel d'Aubigny de Albini; her maternal grandfather is John de Vaux of Freston. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William IV, John, Thomas, Margaret and Agnes (Anne).  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died after 1328.


Mary's first family with William VII de Braose

‌Mary and William VII were married in a religious ceremony about 1271.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Peter, Richard, William and Margaret.


Mary's second family with Thomas Plantagenet of Brotherton

‌Mary and Thomas Plantagenet of were married in a religious ceremony about 1328.  They had a son named John.
