Philip III The Bold le Hardi Capet of was born on May 1st, 1245 in France.  Philip III The Bold le Hardi Capet of's father was Louis IX Capet the Saint of France and his mother was Marguerite Berenger of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were Louis VIII Capet the Lion of France and Blanca of Castile; his maternal grandparents were Raymond VI Berenger of Provence and Beatrice de Savoie. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert, Blanche and Agnes.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 40 on October 5th, 1285 in Perpignan, Aragon, Spain.  He was buried in St. Denis, France.

‌Philip III The Bold le Hardi Capet of and Isabelle of were married in a religious ceremony on May 28th, 1262 in Clermont-en-Auvergne, France.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Philip IV el Hermoso the Fair Capet of, Robert Capet of, Louis Capet of, Charles III Capet and Blanche.
