Louis IX Capet the Saint of was born on April 25th, 1214.  Louis IX Capet the Saint of's father was Louis VIII Capet the Lion of France and his mother was Blanca of Castile.  His paternal grandparents were Philip II Augustus Capet of France and Isabella of Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII the Noble and Good of Castile and Eleanor Plantagenet. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Robert Capet I, Etienne Capet, Jean Capet, Philippe Capet, Philippe Dagobert Capet, Alphonse Capet, Charles I Capet of and Isabella Capet.  He died at the age of 56 on August 25th, 1270 in Tunis.


Louis IX Capet the Saint of's family with Marguerite Berenger of Provence

‌Louis IX Capet the Saint of and Marguerite Berenger of were married in a religious ceremony on May 27th, 1234.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Philip III The Bold le Hardi Capet of, Robert, Blanche and Agnes.
