Adelaide de Blois was born about 1140.  Adelaide de Blois' father was Theobald III the Great of Blois and her mother was Mathilda von Sponheim of Carinthia.  Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Henry the Sage of Blois and Adela de Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Ingelbert II Von Sponheim of Carinthia and Uta von Cham. She had four brothers and a sister, named Henry I the Liberal, Theobald IV the Good of, William of, Stephen of and Agnes of.  She died on June 4th, 1206.
