Alice was born about 1115.  Alice's father was Godfrey of Dagsburg and Namur and her mother was Ermesind of Luxemburg.  Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert (Albert) III of Namur and Ida Billung of Saxony; her maternal grandparents were Conrad I of Luxemburg and Clemence of Poitou. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry IV the Blind Coecus of, Beatrix and Clemence. She had two half-sisters named Elizabeth (Isabel) of and Mathilde.  She died in July 1169.


Alice's family with Baldwin IV de Mons of Hainault

‌Alice and Baldwin IV de Mons of were married in a religious ceremony in 1130.  They had a son and three daughters, named Baldwin V (VIII of Flanders) of, Yolande, Agnes and Laurette.
