Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of was born on June 17th, 1239 in Westminster Palace, London, Middlesex, England.  Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of's father was Henry III Plantagenet of England and his mother was Eleanor Berenger of Provence.  His paternal grandparents were John I Plantagenet Lackland of England and Isabella de Taillefer of Angouleme; his maternal grandparents were Raymond VI Berenger of Provence and Beatrice de Savoie. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard, John, Henry, William of, Edmund Crouchback, Margaret, Beatrice and Catherine.  He died at the age of 68 on July 7th, 1307 in Burgh-on-the-Sands,Carlisle,Cumberland,England or Salway Firth,Scotland.  He was buried in 1307 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.

‌Edward I Longshanks Plantagenet of and Eleanor of Castile & were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1254 in Abbey of Las Huelgas, Burgos, Castille, Spain.  They had four sons and eleven daughters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward II Caernarvon of, Eleanor, Julian Katherine, Joan of Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Alice and Isabella.
