Born at Barford Millhouse, an English listed historic building, but actually (probably) Surrey.  She is the only child shown NOT to be born in Bucks on the 1841 census.

1850 - 1888 Frederick Henry Briggs 38 38 1852 - 1890 William John Briggs 38 38 poss father of William described as "Orphan" with grandparents in 1891 and with Tom Pickles in 1901. poss wife Eliza d same quarter. 1870 - 1871 Jesse Briggs 1 1 1797 - >1851 James Harman 54 54 The Harman family were well to do farmers James’s father William [1771} was from  a family of 13. The Harman name is common in the High Wycombe area.

When daughter Ann was born, James Harman was working as  the foreman or manager at Barford Upper number 122 before in Wycombe and returned there 

Ann’s mother died in 1838 and there was one more child John Harman 12 November 1836 who died in 1839. James married Ann Dean in 1838  on the 5th June  they had one child John Samuel Harman 1842 -191
1798 - 1838 Ann Simmonds 40 40 Ann's father was Francis Simmonds, a Wheelright, from Oakley Green, Berkshire.  I can find no marriage for her, so perhaps she was a widow before she married James.

Francis was still alive in 1841, 75, a Blacksmith at Park Lane, Tilehurst, Berks.
1825 Joseph Harman Joseph was as a Rag Merchant in Speen in 1851 before he moved to Dorset. 1826 George Harman 1833 Mary Harman 1835 Caroline Harman Caroline married William (Cobb or Keen) in 1865 1842 - 1914 John Samuel Harman 72 72 John (aged 9) was with both parents at Wooburn, Wycombe, Bucks in 1851.

John Married twice.  First to Asenath Stockley in Dorset Q2/1863 (banns in 1862) and after she died in 1882, he married Mary McCarthy the following year.
