David Pickles

David was born in 1766 in Foulridge and his baptism took place on April 20th, 1766 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).¹

David's father was Michael Pickles and his mother was Margaret. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Joseph, Benjamin, Isabel, Hannah and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 in May 1822 in Foulridge. His burial was on May 19th, 1822 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).²
