Mercy was born on March 31st, 1910 in Wallasey.¹

Birth Notes

Mercy's father was Arthur Edward Scoffield and her mother was Mary Brockbank. Her maternal grandparents were John Brockbank and Mary Ann Mather. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Arthur, Joseph, Walter, Harold, George, Mary, Elizabeth, Hilda and Lilian. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 79 on July 1st, 1989 in Wallasey.²
