Lost an arm in WWI, so used to drive around in a converted car. He married three times. His first two wives died (not divorced), and his third marriage was quite late in life.
In 1939, was with Lilian and Alice, probably sisters (and second wife).
Last known address was in Norden, Rochdale. Lancashire. Jim died in Rochdale in 1980, aged 85.
