Martha Ann Mather

Martha was born on April 8th, 1891 in Astley Bridge.¹

Martha's father was George Alfred Mather and her mother was Ellen Guest. Her paternal grandparents were George Mather and Mary Marsh; her maternal grandparents were Guest Guest and Martha Ann Eckersley. She had three brothers and five sisters, named George, Harry, Fred, Eleanor, Emily, Lilly, May and Ethel. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 75 in October 1966 in Farnworth.²
