Eleanor Worsley Mather

Eleanor was born in March 1888 in Astley Bridge.¹

Eleanor's father was George Alfred Mather and her mother was Ellen Guest. Her paternal grandparents were George Mather and Mary Marsh; her maternal grandparents were Guest Guest and Martha Ann Eckersley. She had three brothers and five sisters, named George, Harry, Fred, Emily, Martha, Lilly, May and Ethel. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 in December 1973 in Bury.²
