Jane Mather

Jane was born in June 1867 in Darwen.¹

Jane's father was Charles Mather and her mother was Betty Crook. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper; her maternal grandparents were Daniel (Dan) Crook and Mary Walsh. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Daniel, Charles, Maria, Alice, Ann, Sarah and Betsy. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children. She died as an infant in 1867 in Darwen.¹
