Daniel Mather

Daniel was born in December 1862 in Sharples.¹

Daniel's father was Charles Mather and his mother was Betty Crook. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper; his maternal grandparents were Daniel (Dan) Crook and Mary Walsh. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Charles, Maria, Alice, Ann, Jane, Sarah and Betsy. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on February 11th, 1938 in Droylsden.²
