Clara Mather

Clara's father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Sarah Makin.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Rigby. She had a brother and five sisters, named Samuel, Ellen, Hannah, Alice, Hannah and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, William, Elizabeth, Alice, Christiana, Ellen and John.  She died at the age of 4 on February 17th, 1873 in Bolton.  She was buried in February 1873 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.²
