Christiana's father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Rosannah Peak.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Ellen Rigby. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William, Alice and Ellen.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Samuel, Ellen, Hannah, Alice, Hannah, Sarah and Clara.  She died as an infant in June 1849 in Bolton.  She was buried on June 10th, 1849 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^2 1
