William Longworth

William was born in 1831 in Entwistle and his baptism took place on January 2nd, 1831 at St. Anne (Turton).¹²

William's father was Robert Longworth and his mother was Catherine Mather. His maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Daniel, John, Robert, Jane, Nancy, Sarah, Catherine and Alice. He had two half-sisters named Betty and Betty. He died at the age of 60 on July 9th, 1891.
