Nancy Longworth

Nancy was born in 1835 in Entwistle and her baptism took place on November 24th, 1835 at St. Anne (Turton).¹²

Nancy's father was Robert Longworth and her mother was Catherine Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Daniel, John, Robert, Jane, Sarah, Catherine and Alice. She had two half-sisters named Betty and Betty. She died at the age of 26 in April 1861 in Horwich. Her burial was on April 7th, 1861 in Horwich.³
