Daiel was the son of Robert Longworth, a Crofter. Daniel and Ann married in 1864 and had 7 children, but only two survived adulthood.
They married and started their family in Little Bolton, and moved to Horwich about 1866 after Louisa Blanch was born.
In 1871, Daniel and Ann (31 & 30) were at 3 Latham Row, Horwich with Louisa Blanch (6) and Alice (1).
In 1881, Daniel (41, Wid) was a finisher at 4 Latham Row, Horwich with Louisa Blanch (16), William (8), and Annie (5).
In 1888, Daniel Longworth married Elizabeth Dawson.
In 1891, Daniel and Elizabeth Longworth (51 & 39) were at Horwich with son William (18).
