Jane Longworth

Jane was born on May 1st, 1829 in Entwistle and her baptism took place on May 31st, 1829 at Edgworth Independent.¹²

- Aged 12 in 1841, born Lancashire.
  Borthers William and John were born in Entwistle.
  
  Aged 21 in 1850 when married

Jane's father was Robert Longworth and her mother was Catherine Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Daniel, John, Robert, Nancy, Sarah, Catherine and Alice. She had two half-sisters named Betty and Betty. She died at the age of 60 in March 1890 in Bolton. Her burial was in March 1890 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³⁴
