Ann, known as Annie, was born in September 1851 in Ilkley and her baptism took place there on October 26th, 1851.1 2  Annie's father was David Lister and her mother was Ann Elizabeth Smith.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Lister and Hannah Robinson; her maternal grandparents were William Smith and Jenny (Jane) Hudson. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Richard, Thomas, Richard, William, Joseph, George, Ann, Harriet, Margaret and Mary.  She died at the age of 52 on October 15th, 1903 in Ilkley.  Her burial was in October 1903 in Ilkley.3 4
