Richard Sill

Richard was born on January 19th, 1691 in Preston-Patrick.¹

Richard's father was Edward Sill and his mother was Margaret Atkinson. His paternal grandparents were Richard Sill and Elizabeth Audland. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Edward, Hannah and Dinah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 on May 29th, 1763 in Preston-Patrick. His burial was in Westmorland.¹

Death Notes
- This is probably the burial for this Richard Sill (there as several), as his sister-in-law Dorothy Atkinson was also at Birckrig park when she died, the same year.
