Hannah was born on May 19th, 1698 in Preston-Patrick.1  Hannah's father was Edward Sill and her mother was Margaret Atkinson.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Sill and Elizabeth Audland. She had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, James, Edward and Dinah.  She was the second youngest of the five children.
