Margret is the daughter of William Atkinson of ????, Siluerdalle (possibly Silverdale) in Lancashire (see Quaker marriage record of Margaret). She probably had a brother James Atkinson, whom was the first named witness to Edward's marriage to Alice.
Margaret and Edward were married in a religious ceremony on March 19th, 1690 in Preston-Patrick.2
