Ellen Elizabeth Brereton

Ellen was born on April 15th, 1886 in Tattenhall and her baptism took place on May 30th, 1886 in Harthill.¹²

Ellen's father was John Brereton and her mother was Elizabeth Manley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Arthur, Richard, Robert, Charles, Frederick, Catherine, Florence, Sarah, Margaret, Gertrude and Lucy. She was the eleventh oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 61 in 1947 in Bebington.
