Harry's father was <unknown> and his mother was Ellen Elizabeth Brereton. His maternal grandparents were John Brereton and Elizabeth Manley. He had a sister named Elsie. Harry and Elsie were twins. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Joseph, Helen and Marie. He died at the age of 64 on January 10th, 1965 in Tattenhall.²
