Elsie's father was <unknown> and her mother was Ellen Elizabeth Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were John Brereton and Elizabeth Manley. She had a brother named Harry. Harry and Elsie were twins. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Joseph, Helen and Marie. She died at 8 months old on August 27th, 1901 in Chester.¹
