William Brereton

William was born in June 1871 in Tattenhall.¹

  Hilary's family tree also shows William married to Annie Bethell, so assuming she's right, William was born in Cheshire in 1871.

William's father was John Brereton and his mother was Elizabeth Manley. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, John, Arthur, Richard, Robert, Charles, Frederick, Catherine, Florence, Sarah, Margaret, Ellen, Gertrude and Lucy. He was the second oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 74 on May 27th, 1946 in Eastham. His burial was in Eastham.²²

General Notes
- Left home by 1891 and boarding in All Saints, Herefordshire.
  
  Mother left her estate to William in 1925. He was a stationmaster
