Jacob Franklin Surrency

Jacob Franklin was born on April 28th, 1860 in Tattnall Co. GA.¹   Jacob Franklin's father was Samuel D. Surrency and his mother was Elizabeth Kennedy.  His maternal grandparents were Edward Kennedy and Cynthia Unknown. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Burrell Demere, William Brantley, James Jasper, John Allen, Louisa, Josephine America and Sophronia Ann Florida.  He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and ten half-sisters, named Robert C., Allen Powell, Samuel D., Henry Jackson, Hampton West, Penelope, Cornelius, Nancy, Charlotte, Sarah, Elizabeth, Caroline Matilda, Martha, Clementine and Emiline.¹
