Emiline Surrency

Emiline was born on January 6th, 1837.¹   Emiline's father was Samuel D. Surrency and her mother was Elizabeth Copeland. She had five brothers and nine sisters, named Robert C., Allen Powell, Samuel D., Henry Jackson, Hampton West, Penelope, Cornelius, Nancy, Charlotte, Sarah, Elizabeth, Caroline Matilda, Martha and Clementine.  She was the second youngest of the fifteen children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Burrell Demere, William Brantley, James Jasper, Jacob Franklin, John Allen, Louisa, Josephine America and Sophronia Ann Florida.¹
