Caroline Matilda Surrency

Caroline Matilda was born on April 27th, 1832.¹   Caroline Matilda's father was Samuel D. Surrency and her mother was Elizabeth Copeland. She had five brothers and nine sisters, named Robert C., Allen Powell, Samuel D., Henry Jackson, Hampton West, Penelope, Cornelius, Nancy, Charlotte, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha, Clementine and Emiline.  She was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Burrell Demere, William Brantley, James Jasper, Jacob Franklin, John Allen, Louisa, Josephine America and Sophronia Ann Florida.¹
