Henry was born in Alnwick, Northumberland, England.  Henry's father was Sir Knight Henry ("Harry Hotspur") de Percy and his mother was Elizabeth de Mortimer.  His paternal grandparents were King Henry de Percy of Man and Margaret de Neville; his maternal grandparents were Edmund ("the Good") de Mortimer of March and Countess Philippa Plantagenet of Ulster. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He had a half-sister named Alice Philippa.  He died  due to died in battle on May 22nd, 1455 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England.

‌Henry and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony about October 1414 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England.  They had a daughter named Catherine.
