Joan the Fair Maid was born on September 29th, 1328.  Joan the Fair Maid's father was Edmund Plantagenet of Woodstock Earl of Kent and her mother was Margaret le Wake of Liddell Bss Wake.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward I Longshanks King of England and Marguerite Capet le Hardi de France; her maternal grandparents were Sir John le Wake Lord Wake and Joanna de Fiennes. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edmund Plantagenet, John and Margaret. She had a half-brother named Aymer.  She died at the age of 56 on August 8th, 1385 in Wallingford Castle, Berkshire, England.
