Edmund Plantagenet of Woodstock was born on August 5th, 1301 in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England.  Edmund Plantagenet of Woodstock's father was Edward I Longshanks King of England and his mother was Marguerite Capet le Hardi de France.  His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor Berenger de Provence; his maternal grandparents were Philippe III the Bold le Hardi King of France and Marie de Brabant. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas de Brotherton and Eleanor. He had five half-brothers and twelve half-sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso Plantagenet, Edward II of Caernarvon, John de Botetourt, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of Acre Plantagenet, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Alice and Isabella.  He died in Winchester, Hampshire, England.

‌Edmund Plantagenet of Woodstock and Margaret le Wake of Liddell were married in a religious ceremony on December 25th, 1325.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Edmund Plantagenet, John, Margaret and Joan the Fair Maid.
