Henri de Brabant III was born in 1233. Henri de Brabant III's father was Henri de Brabant II Duc de Brabant and his mother was Marie Hohenstaufen of Swabia. His paternal grandparents were Henri I Duc de Brabant and Ida (Maud) d' Alsace Cts de Boulogne; his maternal grandparents were Philip II Hohenstaufen of Holy Roman Emp and Irini Maria Angelina of Byzantium. He had a brother and two sisters, named Henry I the Child von Hesse, Elizabeth and Matilda. He died at the age of 28 in 1261.-
