John de Holand was born about 1358. John de Holand's father was Sir Thomas de Holand Earl of Kent and his mother was Joan the Fair Maid Plantagenet Cts of Kent. His paternal grandparents were Sir Robert de Holand II Baron Holand and Maude la Zouche; his maternal grandparents were Edmund Plantagenet of Woodstock Earl of Kent and Margaret le Wake of Liddell Bss Wake. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas de Holand II, Joan and Margaret. He had two half-brothers named Richard II Plantagenet and Edward. He died in Pleshey Castle, Essex.Death Notes
