Sir John le Wake was born in 1268 in Blisworth, Northamptonshire. Sir John le Wake's father was Baldwin le Wake Lord Bourne and his mother was Hawise (Margaret) de Quincy. His paternal grandparents were Hugh le Wake Lord Bourne and Joan de Stuteville; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy the Younger and Elen (Helena) verch Llywelyn Fawr of Wales. He was an only child. He died about April 10th, 1300.-
