Robert II was born on March 2nd, 1316 in Innermeath,Argyllshire,Scotand.1   Robert II's father was High Steward Walter Stewart Of Scotland and his mother was Princess Marjory De Brus Of Scotland.  His paternal grandparents were Lord James John Of Bonkyl and Egidia De Burgh; his maternal grandparents were King Robert I (The Liberator) De Brus Of Scotland and Matilda De Mar. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Egidia (Jill) and Jean.  He died at the age of 74 on April 19th, 1390 in Dundonald Castle,Irvine,Ayrshire,Scotland.  He was buried in Paisley Abbey,Renfrewshire,Scotland.1

‌Robert II and Euphemia were married in a religious ceremony on May 2nd, 1355 in 2nd husband 2nd wife - papal dispensation date.6   They had a son and three daughters, named David, Isabel, Elizabeth Catherine and Edigia Egidia Jill.
