David was born about 1359 in Dundonald Castle,Ayrshire,Scotland. David's father was King Robert II Stewart Of Scotland, Earl Of Atholl and his mother was Euphemia Ross. His paternal grandparents were High Steward Walter Stewart Of Scotland and Princess Marjory De Brus Of Scotland; his maternal grandparents were Earl Hugh Ross and Margaret Graham. He had three sisters named Isabel, Elizabeth Catherine and Edigia Egidia Jill. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert John III, Robert, Alexander, Margaret, Jean (Joan) and Elizabeth. He died in Strathearn,Perthshire,Scotland.General Notes
