Jean (Joan) was born about 1350 in Dundonald,Ayrshire,Scotland.  Jean (Joan)'s father was King Robert II Stewart Of Scotland, Earl Of Atholl and her mother was Elizabeth Mure Of Rowallon.  Her paternal grandparents were High Steward Walter Stewart Of Scotland and Princess Marjory De Brus Of Scotland; her maternal grandparents were Sir Adam Mure and Janet Mure. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert John III, Robert, Alexander, Margaret and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named David, Isabel, Elizabeth Catherine and Edigia Egidia Jill.  She died after 1404 in Scone Abbey,Perthshire,Scotland.
