His paternal grandparents were Baron Alan De Hesdin Of Oswestry and Heiress Adeliza De Shropshire; his maternal grandparents were Thomas De Lundins and De Molle. He had a sister named Marjory. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 75 in 1204.-
