Edith, known as Swan Neck, was born in 1042 in SAXE,MERCIA,ENGLAND.1   Swan Neck's father was Earl Alfgar III De Mercia and her mother was Princess Elgifu De Wessex Of Saxon England.  Her paternal grandparents were Earl Leofric III (The Great) De Mercia Lord Of Coventry and Lady Godiva (Godgifu) De Lincoln Of Coventry; her maternal grandparents were King Aethelred II (The Unready) De Wessex Of Saxon England and Duchess Aelflede(Elfreda, Elgiva) De Northumberia. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Edwin, Morcar, Leverunia, Lucia and Agatha.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother named William.  She died at the age of 44 in 1086.1 


Swan Neck's first family with King Harold II Godwinsson Of Saxon England

‌Swan Neck and Harold II were married in a religious ceremony in 1045 in Of Wessex,,England.1   They had five sons and two daughters, named Godwin, Edmund, Magnus, Ulf, Harold, Gunhilda and Gytha.


Swan Neck's second family with King Gruffydd Ap Llewellyn Of Wales

‌Swan Neck and Gruffydd were married in a religious ceremony in 1057 in ENGLAND.1   They had six sons and a daughter, named Griffith I, Urgeny, Idwal, Maredudd, Ithell, Owen and Nesta.
