Benjamin Cox 
Benjamin was born on February 18th, 1723 in Kennett Mt. Chester Co. Pennsylvania. Benjamin's father was John II Cox and his mother was Hannah Jenkins. His paternal grandparents were John I Cox and Rachel Embree Carr. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Samuel, John, Sarah, Amy Naomi, Naomi, Ruth and Hannah B.. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Jacob, Solomon, Dinah, Rebecca and Mary. He died about 1817 in Holly Springs,Chatham Co. North Carolina. He was buried in Holly Springs,Chatham Co. North Carolina.General Notes
